About the Department

The general philosophy of Landmark University is ‘Breaking New Grounds’ and in line with this, the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering poised to trail blaze in agricultural revolution with the objective of producing graduates who have high moral and academic standards, equipped with the adequate practical background necessary for them to be of immediate value to the industry, the nation in general and be self-employable by possessing the necessary entrepreneurial skills.

Core Activities

The department creates an ambience for excellent academic activities which encourages students to attend lectures and use library and internet facilities during free periods. Student lecture attendance is taken seriously and it’s computed electronically and allow parents or guardian to monitor the progress of their wards as regards lecture and other general assembly’s. There is a constant power supply and ICT facilities are available to aid teaching, research, and study for the Faculty, Staff, and Students on a continuous basis.

Admission to the University

Admission to the 100 level is through the UTME of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a minimum of five credit passes

Admission to the 100 level is through the UTME of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a minimum of five credit passes in the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) or West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) or NECO or its equivalent at not more than two sittings in subjects, which include Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English Language and either credit pass in Further Mathematics, Biology, or Technical Drawing.
